Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Medical Science Liaison/Clinical Scientist III for a US remote role. The incumbent will analyze safety data, support protocol development, and liaise with sponsors and study teams to address medical questions.

Requirements include an MD with 10+ years in pharma/clinical research, 5+ years in medical monitoring, and HAEspecific experience. Travel heavy; visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• MD degree required and licensed physician in clinical practice.
• Minimum 10+ years pharmaceutical and clinical research experience, including 5+ years in medical monitoring/data review.
• TA-specific experience in Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) required.
• Progressive responsibility within CRO or Sponsor environment.
• Knowledge of GCPs and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Ability to perform limited literature reviews and apply findings.

Responsibilities

• Track and review ongoing study safety data to identify safety trends.
• Act as liaison between Medical Monitor and study stakeholders; document issues.
• Review CPS proposals and provide clinical guidance on early development strategies.
• Provide in-depth analysis for protocols and clinical development plans.
• Collaborate with medical/scientific/regulatory teams to solve problems.
• Establish affiliations with Fortrea and the wider scientific community.
• Input for biomarkers in Proof-of-Concept studies.
• Attend Kick-off Meetings, SIVs/Investigator Meetings; support training.
• Attend Team Meetings and resolve medical/safety issues raised.
• Support Medical Monitors in inclusion/exclusion criteria review.
