Job summary

Indegene is seeking an experienced MRC (Medical) Operations Lead to oversee the medical material review committee workflow and governance. You will optimize processes, ensure compliance with MLR, and coordinate with Brand/Medical teams, agencies, and reviewers to drive timely, error-free content.

The role requires 5–7+ years of biotech/pharma operations experience, strong analytics (Excel/Power BI), and familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats. Remote working from the US East Coast is preferred.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of relevant operations experience in biotech/pharmaceutical industry, especially MRC/PRC operations.
Experience in medical material review and workflows, and understanding of what materials should undergo promotional review.
Strong understanding of the commercial and medical marketing functions in biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
Hands-on technical knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats and MedComms from an admin/content-creator perspective.
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; able to navigate regulatory environments and ensure compliance.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities; ability to influence without authority.
Proven people-leadership and team-oversight capability; passion for process improvement and first-class operational infrastructure.
Proactive, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity; able to gather diverse stakeholder input to drive decisions and innovative solutions.
AI-enabled tools familiarity and ability to apply them to reporting, forecasting, and workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end mMRC operations, agenda management, meeting facilitation, workflow routing, and quality control across systems.
Triage materials and progress workflow; manage intake, readiness, and QC to ensure only review-ready materials advance.
Manage volume projections, capacity planning, and coordinate with stakeholders on fluctuations and forecasts.
Own adherence to SOPs and governance; track compliance and drive remediation as needed.
Serve as the primary escalation point for operational risks and escalation decisions.
Lead coordination with Brand/Medical teams, Agencies, and Reviewers; participate in weekly functional meetings.
Provide daily direction to coordinators and manage escalation and expedited requests.
Develop and maintain training content, process docs, and onboarding guidelines; drive continuous improvement.
