Cohere Health is seeking physicians with Orthopedic Spine Surgery expertise to assess medical appropriateness of services using evidence-based guidelines. You will review clinical information, document decisions, and collaborate with intake specialists and nurses in a fast-paced, scalable environment.

The role requires a US residency in Orthopedic/Neurosurgery with a Spine fellowship, board certification, and 5+ years of practice.

Qualifikationen

• Completed US residency in Orthopedic or Neurosurgery with Spine fellowship.
• Board-certified MD/DO with unrestricted license to practice in the US.
• 5+ years of clinical practice beyond residency/fellowship.

Aufgaben

• Provide timely medical reviews that meet Cohere's quality parameters.
• Make clinical determinations based on evidence-based criteria.
• Document all communications and decisions clearly in Cohere workflow tools.
• Use templates for documenting decisions during case review.
• Meet turnaround times for clinical reviews.
• Conduct peer-to-peer discussions with treating providers to clarify information and explain decisions.
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability in all interactions.
• Support team projects to build clinical expertise and efficiency.
• Assist with operational improvements and member/provider experience.
