Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review clinical documentation to confirm diagnostic and procedural codes.
• Ensure compliance with Teaching Physician guidelines.
• Participate in training and education programs.

Skills

General/intermediate knowledge of ICD‑10, CPT, HCPCS and modifier coding

Ability to analyze and interpret evaluation and management documentation guidelines

Demonstrated knowledge of Federal payer regulations and HIPAA rules

Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize work

Education

High school education or equivalent

Associate’s degree (preferred)
