Qualifications

• Experience handling workers' compensation claims
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word

Responsibilities

• Contact accounts on First Notices of Loss to gather information for file set-up
• Process payments and authorize treatment for Medical Only claims
• Maintain timely contacts within 24 hours and diary follow-up
• Determine treatment appropriateness and causal relation to injury
• Refer subrogation or permanency opportunities as needed
• Ensure jurisdictional compliance and obtain/maintain state adjusting licenses
• Administer benefits on Permanent Total or Death cases
• Demonstrate adherence to Code of Conduct and ethics
