The ideal candidate has 3+ years in medical billing or prior authorizations, is familiar with insurance processes and EMRs, and demonstrates excellent communication, organization, and independence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in medical billing or prior authorizations, preferably in psychiatry or behavioral health.
• Familiarity with insurance processes, psychiatric meds, and EMR systems.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication prior authorization requests with insurance companies.
• Follow up with insurers to track status and obtain approvals.
• Enter charges and assist patient billing questions and statements.
• Support HIPAA-compliant administrative tasks and maintain confidentiality.
