Qualifications

• Detail-oriented approach to medical billing and coding tasks.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding and related guidelines.
• Basic understanding of insurance guidelines and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Process and submit medical claims accurately and on time.
• Assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Review documentation for coding compliance.
• Follow up on denied or unpaid claims as needed.
• Communicate with providers, payers, or clients when necessary.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security standards.
