Job summary

Aurrera Health Group, a national policy and communications firm headquartered in Sacramento, is seeking a fully remote role focused on Medicaid policy and programs. You will lead in-depth policy research, manage policy projects, and deliver complex papers with minimal supervision.

We require a Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least seven years of health policy experience, plus strong client relationships and the ability to coordinate across time zones. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and at least 7 years of health policy experience.
• Proven organizational and project management skills, strong client relationships.
• Experience working on Medicaid programs and policy.
• Ability to lead teams and delegate effectively.
• Willingness to work across multiple time zones (ET, CT, MT, PT).

Responsibilities

• Lead in-depth policy research and produce thorough deliverables.
• Conduct project management in policy and program implementation.
• Manage multiple tasks, ensuring deadlines and quality standards.
• Lead Policy Research & Analysis: produce complex policy papers and materials.
• Manage Multiple Projects: coordinate plans and track deliverables.
• Engage with Stakeholders: lead meetings and outreach efforts.
• Proactive Client Service: anticipate client needs and address challenges.
