Job summary

Vaya Health is seeking an ACCESS Member Services Specialist for a remote, home-based role. The position supports ACCESS callers by conducting telephonic screenings, linking to providers, and guiding enrollment while coordinating with clinicians for urgent needs.

Qualifications

• Diploma and at least two years of experience with adults or children with serious psychiatric, chemical dependence or developmental disability.
• Qualified Professional according to 10A NCAC 27G .0104.
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to document and use electronic information systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephonic requests for services and link callers to providers.
• Assess caller needs, review eligibility, collect demographics, and offer provider choices.
• Refer to clinicians for urgent needs and coordinate referrals.
• Document interactions in the electronic information system.
