Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking experienced Mechanical Engineering Technicians to support an AI benchmark project remotely. You will apply hands-on technical skills to create realistic testing scenarios, perform data collection, and diagnose failures, while ensuring results mirror real-world conditions.

No prior AI experience is required, but you will build technical datasets, calibration records, sensor outputs, and detailed failure reports.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical testing experience in labs or production environments.
• Ability to document procedures and results clearly.
• Proficient with test logs, calibration records, and sensor data.
• Comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set up tests, collect data, and diagnose failures.
• Create datasets such as test logs and calibration records.
• Define solution pathways and recommendations from test data.
• Develop 35+ point grading rubrics for instrumentation and analysis.
• Document procedures, observations, results, and findings.
• Ensure tasks reflect real-world complexity.
