Job summary

Cincinnatus LLC is seeking a PE-licensed mechanical engineer to join a growing network evaluating AI content in mechanical engineering. This flexible, part-time engagement values real-world expertise to review accuracy and quality of AI-generated material.

Review tasks include answering domain questions, identifying reference material, and sharing insights on workflows and tools used by mechanical engineers. Remote, ~10 hours per week, with potential to grow.

Qualifications

• Must be a degree-qualified mechanical engineer with a US PE license.
• Minimum 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Familiar with ASME codes and standards and tools like SolidWorks, ANSYS or AutoCAD.
• Experience writing technical documentation is a plus.
• Based in the United States with professional working English.
• Able to commit about 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate mechanical engineering content for accuracy and quality.
• Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on experience.
• Identify useful reference materials relevant to the field.
• Share insights into how mechanical engineers work, including tools and workflows.
