Job summary

PAHO/WHO Regional Office seeks a consultant to support the CIM Comprehensive Immunizations program by analyzing the epidemiology of measles and rubella, building monitoring tools, and contributing to regional SitReps and technical reports. The consultant will work remotely Nov 2026–Apr 2027 and may travel as needed within the Region.

Responsibilities include maintaining the CIM virtual situation room, updating weekly data, and supporting surveillance protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field.
• Master's degree preferred with public health focus.
• Experience in epidemiology data analysis and public health reporting.

Responsibilities

• Update the CIM measles–rubella situation room weekly with current data.
• Coordinate with regional teams to maintain the situation room and update analyses.
• Prepare technical reports on measles-rubella and update regional SitReps.
• Develop surveillance/monitoring protocols for measles and rubella.
