Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an Enterprise Architect to design and implement master data management solutions within the EIM team. The role focuses on Informatica IDMC, data quality, identity resolution and governance across the agency’s data domain.

You will collaborate with IT, data architects and business analysts, apply agile methods, and ensure compliance with HHSC coding and security standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Informatica and ETL development and best practices.
• Experience and understanding of Enterprise Information Management best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing Master Data Management solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing Informatica PowerCenter custom solutions.
• Experience with Erwin and ERStudio data modeling tools or equivalent.
• Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Proven ability to work with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Preference for Oracle DBA experience.
• Experience installing and configuring Informatica Metadata Manager architecture.
• Experience architecting Master Data Management solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Developing MDM solutions for healthcare provider and managed care domains using Informatica tools.
• Developing extract/transform/load processes for HHS data into MDM applications using Oracle, Snowflake and Informatica tools.
• Developing, testing, and maintaining enhancements/upgrades to MDM application layers.
• Collaborating with EIM data architects and subject matter experts to accurately model as-is and to-be data processes.
• Assuming operational responsibility for metadata loads.
• Planning and monitoring MDM/Metadata projects using agile methods.
• Ensuring build and deployment of MDM components complies with HHSC coding and security standards.
