Job summary

Mathnasium is seeking a Virtual Math Instructor to provide engaging, individual and small-group math tutoring for elementary students. The role is remote and part-time with fixed hours (3:15-4:45pm Mon/Thu; additional hours available M-Th 5-7pm and Sat 10am-12pm).

Applicants will take a math literacy test, pass a background check, and complete training in the Mathnasium Method. Strong math skills and clear communication are essential to support students’ growth and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students.
• Teach virtually using the Mathnasium Method and related practices.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best experience.
• Evaluate, grade, and correct student work.
• Support kids to grow in skills and confidence in every tutoring session.
