Job summary
Handshake is seeking Math PhDs to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. You'll use your advanced mathematical training to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand mathematical reasoning, proof construction, and technical problem-solving.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.
Qualifications
- Doctoral students or graduates in Mathematics or closely related fields.
- Strong background in advanced mathematical reasoning, proof-writing, and formal logic.
- F-1 students eligible for CPT/OPT may be eligible for projects; STEM OPT not supported.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical consistency, and mathematical rigor.
- Design rigorous questions and review AI outputs to improve mathematical reasoning.
