Job summary

Generator Supercenter of Denver is seeking an experienced Master Plumber to provide responsible plumbing oversight for Colorado operations. The role focuses on technical supervision, code guidance, permitting support, inspections, and field consultation related to standby generator installations and gas piping.

The ideal candidate holds an active Master Plumber license or equivalent, with strong knowledge of codes and permitting.

Qualifications

• Active Master Plumber license or substantially equivalent credential.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, fuel gas piping, permitting and inspection requirements.
• Experience supervising, qualifying, or providing responsible oversight for plumbing work.
• Ability to provide practical guidance to field teams and leadership.
• Professional communication skills by phone, video, and email.
• Willingness to apply for Colorado licensure by endorsement if not licensed in CO.
• Ability to serve as the responsible Master Plumber for a Colorado contractor if approved.

Responsibilities

• Provide code guidance and technical oversight for gas piping on standby generator installs.
• Support permitting, inspections, and AHJ related questions.
• Review installation practices, documentation, and field standards.
• Be available by phone, video, or in person for technical questions.
• Guide field teams on compliant installation methods and issue resolution.
• Assist with inspection corrections and code interpretations.
• Occasional in-person Colorado support with travel expenses paid.
• Review and update company plumbing processes and checklists.
• Provide standby leadership for safe, compliant workmanship.
