Qualifications

• Paralegal experience in mass tort litigation (asbestos, silica, or other toxic torts) preferred.
• Paralegal certification or degree in a law-related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage complex document databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with fact investigation, witness interviews, pleadings and correspondence.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials and attend proceedings when needed.
• Pre-trial preparation and trial attendance.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings and service; manage calendar and docketing.
• Collect and summarize medical and other records.
• Mentor junior paralegal staff where applicable.
