Job summary

The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) is seeking a Marketing & Graphic Design Intern to support our design and marketing efforts while the graphic designer is on leave. The role is part-time and paid, with a start in October and end date in February, mostly remote but with campus visitability as needed.

You will design graphics, edit materials, and assist PR while coordinating with printers and staff. A strong portfolio and familiarity with Adobe CC are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Canva.
• Preference for current enrollment or graduation in graphic design or related field.
• Photography, video editing, motion graphics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design new graphics and materials upon request.
• Edit existing design materials for various departments.
• Place orders with local printers and coordinate deliveries.
• Support the PR department through daily tasks and administrative projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
