Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Market Research Specialist to manage primary research, track brand health, and provide applied insights to inform business and marketing strategies. The role involves analyzing external datasets using Excel and, where applicable, Python, R, or SAS.

Applicants must be willing to work on a W-2 basis; benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and life insurance. Requirements include at least 4 years in a primary market research role, strong data analysis

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in a primary market research role.
• Experience managing primary research and applying insights to business outcomes.
• Experience in brand health tracking and long-term marketing research, preferably in financial services.
• Experience presenting insights to stakeholders in a consultative capacity.
• Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with Python, R, SAS, SPSS, SQL, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.

Responsibilities

• Leverage expertise in primary and secondary research to inform business and marketing strategies.
• Design and execute market research projects, select methodologies, assess pricing and feasibility, conduct analyses, and present insights.
• Partner with business, media, advertising, and marketing teams to translate objectives into a research agenda that guides strategy.
• Present brand and marketing insights to internal clients and leaders to drive discussion and business action.
• Perform periodic data pulls and ad hoc analyses to inform key decisions.
• Maintain and expand knowledge of evidence-based marketing to refine brand strategy and measurement.
• Analyze external vendor datasets and synthesize brand marketing insights.
