SetPoint Medical is seeking a Market Access Specialist I-II to streamline pre-service clearance and prior authorization for our rheumatoid arthritis therapy. You will work with providers, patients, and health systems, managing documentation, benefits verification, and appeals while navigating payer behaviors in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in market access or related roles.
• Experience with prior authorization and pre-service clearance processes.
• Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
• Understanding of medical practice management and EHR portals.
• Knowledge of FA and URAC standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer support to providers, patients, and internal teams.
• Review medical records and provide feedback to providers as needed.
• Verify benefits and facilitate prior authorization for company products.
• Coordinate pre-service appeals and compose appeals when required.
• Build relationships with rheumatology practices, hospitals, and health systems.
• Identify payer behaviors to inform authorization approaches.
• Complete corporate admin and training on time and accurately.
• Represent the company with high professional standards.
