Job summary

iRhythm is seeking a Market Access & Payer Relations Manager to support payer engagement strategies and expand coverage for our diagnostic services. The role involves working with Market Access, Government Affairs, Clinical, Sales, and Revenue Cycle teams to strengthen payer positioning and streamline reimbursement pathways.

This role requires 5+ years in market access or payer relations, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, and payer credentialing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related field.
• 5+ years of direct experience in market access, payer relations, health policy, reimbursement, or a related field in healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Strong understanding of commercial and government payer systems, reimbursement policies, and managed care dynamics.
• Experience with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, payer credentialing and contracting processes.
• Familiarity with prior authorization processes and payer utilization management requirements.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with regional and national payers and government programs.
• Support contract negotiations, reimbursement rate discussions, and payer credentialing processes.
• Monitor payer policy changes, prior authorization trends, and reimbursement updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate iRhythm’s value proposition to payers.
• Assist in expanding coverage and streamlining reimbursement pathways.
