Job summary

Speechify SIMBA is seeking a strong QA engineer to ensure quality across a high-visibility AI voice agents product. You will develop and execute manual test plans, validate features across browsers and devices, and document defects with clear steps and evidence.

Ideal candidates have a BS in CS, 3+ years of manual QA for web apps, Agile experience, and familiarity with Jira/Linear, Postman, and browser debugging tools. Remote-friendly role with global collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of manual QA testing for web applications.
Strong QA fundamentals: test planning, regression, exploratory testing, and bug reporting.
Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
Excellent troubleshooting and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Jira or Linear and browser debugging tools.
Nice-to-have: accessibility testing and API testing with Postman.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases.
Perform hands-on manual testing across browsers and devices.
Collaborate with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, and document defects.
Maintain QA documentation, regression suites, and release validation summaries.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to triage issues.
Participate in Agile standups, sprint planning, grooming, and retros.
Execute regression testing and release validation before launch.
Identify ways to improve manual QA processes and coverage.
