Job summary

Talanto in the United States is seeking a Magento Developer to join our fully remote team. This full-time role requires strong PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3 and Magento Adobe Commerce expertise to build and customize eCommerce sites.

You will convert designs into pixel-perfect Magento sites, develop themes and modules, and integrate with Sage, QuickBooks, WordPress, Salesforce and ERP systems in a LAMP stack, while collaborating in a fast-paced, remote-friendly startup.

As a Magento Developer, your duties will include:

Building Magento Community, Adobe Commerce, custom PHP, and other eCommerce websites

Converting Figma or PSD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Magento and custom PHP sites

Developing and customizing Magento themes, plugins, modules, and frontend functionality

Supporting data migration, Magento module development, theme development, and headless or decoupled Magento implementations

Writing clean, structured, and well-documented code

Using version control systems such as Git or SVN

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

Expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, and CSS3

Preferred Skills

The following experience is preferred but not required:

Basic server management knowledge, including hosting configuration, performance tuning, or deployment processes

Experience with Progressive Web Apps, headless Magento architecture, Magento PWA Studio, Vue Storefront, or other modern frontend frameworks

Familiarity with GraphQL APIs, microservices-based architecture, and API-first integrations

Knowledge of AI/ML-driven eCommerce features, personalized recommendations, and Core Web Vitals performance optimization

Understanding of omnichannel commerce, including online stores, marketplaces, POS integrations, and scalable cloud deployment best practices

Compensation

For candidates located in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this position ranges from $17 to $35 per hour. Compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills test performance, geographic location, and seniority of the position offered. For candidates outside of California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, compensation may fall outside the listed range.
