The ideal candidate mentors others and contributes to best practices across the organization. The role involves fieldwork, remote/home-based work, and regular travel to client locations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in risk management or safety preferred.
• Experience: 6+ years Loss Control in an insurer, or 3+ years insurer plus 3 years safety industry.
• Must possess SME in designated lines; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert Loss Control services to underwriters, producers and policyholders.
• Perform risk assessments of complex operations and evaluate leadership practices and risk maturity.
• Lead analysis of loss data and provide strategic, technical recommendations to stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and deliver training to clients and internal teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to technical resources and guidelines.
• Travel to client sites and ensure risk improvements across assigned book of business.
