Job summary

Relationship Behavioral Health Services in Gainesville, FL seeks a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a fully remote, full-time role providing evidence-based counseling within a PCMHI framework. The LMHC will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver care in a primary care integration setting, serving veterans and primary care patients facing depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in mental health counseling and Florida LMHC

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling required.
• Active LMHC licensure in Florida required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with psychiatric patients.
• Proficient with electronic health records and related software.
• Ability to assess client needs and apply appropriate therapeutic techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide brief interventions and educational consultations to patients and PCPs.
• Utilize DSM guidance for treatment goals and interventions.
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions (CBT, behavioral, systemic approaches).
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with policies using EHRs.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
