Job summary

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Reno office. The firm is open to candidates who are fully remote, with a preference for candidates based in or near Reno.

The role requires paralegal experience, preferably in a large law firm, and focuses on civil commercial litigation, discovery, and efiling for state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• Paralegal degree or certificate is required.
• Experience in Civil Commercial Litigation is preferred.
• Experience in litigation support, case management, and new matter intake.
• Familiarity with Nevada Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience in efiling for state and federal jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and prepare for hearings, depositions and mediations.
• Review, gather, and organize client documents from production to discovery.
• Assist with preparation of pleadings, discovery requests and responses.
• Provide general office support and coordinate meetings.
