Job summary

Advanced Systems Group, LLC is seeking a Line Producer/Shooter in the San Francisco Bay Area for a hybrid on-site and remote role. You’ll lead field shoots, manage logistics, secure permits, and coordinate with local crew to deliver brand, editorial, and commercial content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or practical hands-on field experience.
• 2–4 years in video production, field coordination, or junior producing (commercial, digital agency, documentary, or branded content).
• Proven on-set camera and tech operation experience (cameras like Sony FX/A7, Canon C-series, RED).
• Reel or portfolio of shot content.
• Experience obtaining permits, managing COIs, and securing releases.
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace, StudioBinder, Airtable, and Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Responsibilities

• Field Deployment & Tactical Shooting: capture video, b‑roll, audio, and photo content on set or with small crews.
• Logistics & Travel Coordination: craft itineraries, book travel/lodging, manage gear transit, and prepare call sheets.
• Permitting & Administrative Minutia: secure permits, releases, and COIs for shoots.
• Budget Support & Reconciliation: track expenses, petty cash, vendor quotes, and invoices.
• Gear & Technical Oversight: prep and transport cameras, lighting, audio, troubleshoot on set.
• Vendor & Local Fixer Management: coordinate with local crew, rental houses, and catering.
• Post-Production Handoff: manage card dumps, metadata, and asset deliveries; assemble quick edits if needed.
