Manulife is seeking a Life Underwriting Auditor to conduct detailed audits of underwriting initiatives, assess technical accuracy, and ensure compliance with pricing, mortality assumptions, and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Risk, Training and Innovation teams, translate findings into targeted training, help enhance the risk control framework, and support data-driven improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of life insurance underwriting experience.
• Expertise in medical and financial underwriting.
• Ability to interpret medical/financial information and assess risk.

Responsabilités

• Audit underwriting initiatives for technical accuracy and guideline adherence.
• Review medical, financial, and operational underwriting decisions for soundness.
• Identify material errors and prepare structured reports for management.
• Collaborate to develop CAPs and track remediation progress.
• Support enhancement of the Underwriting Risk Control Framework (KRIs, governance).
• Translate audit findings into targeted training and guideline clarifications.
• Test impact of new tools/GenAI solutions on underwriting quality.
