Job summary

THOMAS HEALTH SERVICES is seeking a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a remote position in California. The role involves evaluating and developing individualized plans for individuals, families, and teenagers within a multidisciplinary team.

The position requires a Master's degree, CA LMFT or LCSW license, and at least two years of post-graduate experience in behavioral health. A remote work setup is provided along with meeting regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate experience in behavioral health: minimum 2 years.
• Master's degree from an accredited program.
• CA LMFT/LCSW license required.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on relationships, trauma, and life challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Encourage patients to use coping skills and problem-solving strategies.
• Timely assessment, diagnosis, planning, and intervention.
• Select appropriate treatment modalities for presenting problems.
• Collect information via testing, interview, and observation.
• Demonstrate expertise across multiple therapy modalities.
• Document clinical encounters promptly and thoroughly.
• Comply with all applicable policies and guidelines.
