Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing Maryland licensure as a LCSW-C to provide telehealth sessions.

We offer a ramp stipend for clinicians with 30+ hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff, including health insurance and retirement plans. You will join a nationwide telehealth-enabled practice with ongoing clinical supervision and support from a large community of Thriveworks clinicians.

Qualifications

• LMSW license or board-approved LMSW candidate pursuing Maryland licensure.
• Graduate from an approved 60-credit hour MSW program.
• Experience in counseling settings treating depression and anxiety.
• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours weekly.
• Comfort with DSM-5 under supervision when diagnosing.

Responsibilities

• Provide telehealth psychotherapy sessions to clients.
• Maintain a caseload and meet 25+ sessions per week with 30 hours availability.
• Collaborate with licensed supervisors when diagnosing and documenting cases.
• Navigate credentialing, billing, scheduling, and training processes supported by Thriveworks.

You may be a good fit for this role if you’re:* Approved by the board as a LMSW* Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Maryland* A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program* Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required* Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor.* Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly* A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children* Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress* Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools* A good teammate — we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors**Compensation** Up to $66,700 based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. Full-time clinicians are eligible for health insurance, student loan repayment assistance, paid time off, and other employer-sponsored benefits. **How We Support You** We handle the administrative work so you can focus on what you do best: providing exceptional care. That means credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support taken care of for you, plus paid orientation and training to get you started.
