Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Liability Claims Examiner for a US-telecommuter role. You will adjudicate complex liability claims for a dedicated client with a capped caseload, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients. Qualified candidates have at least 3 years in claims management, a high school diploma, and licensing; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Nationwide jurisdiction knowledge (CA, FL, NY) is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex customer claims for a dedicated client with capped caseloads.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and timely.
