Job summary

The Lawyering Project offers a remote summer internship to support its legal programs in reproductive health advocacy. Interns will conduct legal and factual research, perform cite-checking and editing, assist with court filings, and provide client advisory support.

Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. law school; current 2Ls are strongly encouraged. The 10–12 week program runs May–August 2027 with a $625 weekly stipend, up to $7,500, and a rolling deadline (priority October 1).

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal and factual research, analysis, and writing.
• Cite-checking and copy-editing legal documents.
• Assisting with court filings.
• Assisting with client advising.
• Providing support to the Lawyering Project’s legal programs as needed.
• Cultivating an organizational culture aligned with core values.
