Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Legal Counsel for Sanctions and Export Control to join our global Legal, Compliance and IP team. The role reports to the Senior Legal Counsel and collaborates with U.S. and global Export Control teams.

Remote work is allowed with standard business hours (8a-5p ET). The successful candidate will help grow Siemens’ export-control program, advise on EAR/ITAR/OFAC matters, and ensure compliance across departments and geographies.

Qualifications

• A law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership.
• 5+ years as attorney or analyst on trade matters in international settings.
• Expertise in export controls and sanctions (EAR, ITAR, OFAC).
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on export controls and sanctions to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support export and sanctions compliance program.
• Assist M&A teams with export and sanctions due diligence.
• Implement governance framework and embed control processes in operations.
