Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a remote Lawyer contractor to contribute subject-matter expertise for a customer project and help train next-generation AI systems. The role leverages your domain knowledge to shape how models learn, reason, and perform in real-world contexts.

You will conduct comprehensive legal analysis on US law topics, perform in-depth research, and draft, review, and edit memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other documents.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in the United States.
• Current or prior experience at a top-tier US law firm.
• Proven abilities in legal analysis, research, and drafting across a range of legal subjects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in legal content review.
• Track record of successful remote collaboration and participation in multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis on a variety of US law topics, providing nuanced insights and guidance.
• Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure current, accurate information is utilized.
• Draft, review, and edit legal content, including memoranda, opinions, contracts, and other relevant documents.
• Assess and provide structured feedback on legal texts for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
• Participate in remote, multidisciplinary collaboration to refine project deliverables and address complex legal scenarios.
• Contribute to content quality assurance by spotting errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in legal materials.
• Apply meticulous attention to detail to maintain exceptionally high standards in all submissions.
