Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Power Systems Services Specialist to join our Software Center of Excellence. You will design and deliver advanced power system applications (DMS, DTS, EMS) that enhance grid reliability for utilities and ISOs, working across teams to solve complex engineering problems.

You will collaborate with engineers, developers, and customers, write functional designs, support schedules and cost estimates, and help shape proposals and demonstrations for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Power Systems or STEM with 5+ years of development or project delivery experience; or
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or STEM with 3+ years of development or project delivery experience.
• Experience in power system software such as DMS/DTS/EMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, implementing new functionalities in power system software including DMS, DTS and Modeling.
• Maintain power systems application functionality with code fixes, documentation, and UI improvements.
• Collaborate with engineers, frontend developers and DMS developers to implement aligned solutions.
• Consult with technical leads to ensure design guidelines; write DMS Functional Software Designs.
• Provide input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates.
• Interface with customers on issues within area of expertise.
• Provide marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers.
