Job summary

Magnus Management Group LLC seeks a Technical Analytics Manager/Lead Data Scientist to lead the design, development, testing, validation, and deployment of analytics, ML models, and AI-enabled fraud detection for federal programs.

You will mentor technical teams, collaborate with government stakeholders, and drive high‑quality deliverables across multiple analytics projects, focusing on detecting fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement in large federal benefit programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years developing fraud detection analytics.
• Minimum 5 years designing analytic approaches and managing model development.
• Minimum 5 years coding in Python or other open‑source programming languages.
• Experience with machine learning, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and AI.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, validation, and deployment of advanced analytics, ML models, and AI-enabled fraud detection capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership across analytics projects while mentoring teams and collaborating with government stakeholders to detect fraud, waste, abuse and mismanagement across large federal benefit programs.
• Identify, design, and implement analytic use cases for fraud detection across complex programs.
• Track project progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely delivery and quality results.
• Review contractor work products and ensure quality before finalizing models and insights.
• Code rules and models using open‑source programming techniques and tools.
• Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders and document technical work.
