Humana Inc. is seeking an expert in agent design, planning, and control to develop agent systems capable of autonomously managing complex goals. You will design hierarchical planning, memory and tool-use, and evaluate alignment with human intent across long-horizon tasks.

The role combines research and production work: master’s degree with 4+ years in ML/research and 2+ years leading AI/ML systems; Ph.D. preferred, shipping autonomous agents in production or simulation is a plus.

• Master's Degree with 4+ years in research/ML engineering or related role.
• 2+ years leading development of AI/ML systems.
• PhD in CS/ML or related field preferred.
• Experience shipping autonomous or semi-autonomous agents.

• Architect goal setting and decomposition for autonomous agents.
• Design dynamic planning systems (hierarchical planning, self-refinement).
• Collaborate on memory, tool-use, and feedback-loop designs.
