Job summary

Fortrea in the United States (Durham, NC) seeks an experienced Senior Programmer to lead development and implementation of clinical data solutions, focusing on EDC tools such as Medidata RAVE or Oracle Inform, SAS programming, and data/SDTM workflows.

You will build visual analytics dashboards with Spotfire or Tableau, validate complex SDTM domains, and perform post-production changes to EDC databases, adhering to Fortrea SOPs and Good Clinical Practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health sciences, IT, or related field.
• Experience or education plus relevant work experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of clinical solutions for global technical services issues related to EDC tools and SAS programming.
• Develop visual analytics dashboards using Spotfire or Tableau.
• Perform post-production changes to the EDC database and SAS programs per SOPs and GCP.
• Coordinate with Data Manager on timelines and contractual obligations.
• Serve as SME and point of contact for EDC tools and SAS programming.
• Oversee SDTM datasets development and automation standards.
