Insight Global is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) Engineer to lead design, programming, and commissioning for mission critical and retail facilities in Georgia. You will act as technical lead, coordinating with project managers, field technicians, contractors, and clients to meet performance, energy efficiency, and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in BAS engineering (schematic or software design), deep knowledge of WebCTRL, Metasys, Desigo or EBI, and

• Knowledge of commissioning process.
• Professional Engineer License.

• Experience in both schematic design and software programming of BAS systems.

Job Description

Day to Day:Responsible for designing, programming, commissioning, and leading the implementation of building automation and energy management systems for commercial facilities in both the Mission Critical and Retail space.

This Engineer with serve as the technical lead for projects, coordinating with project managers, field technicians, contractors, and clients. They will be responsible for:

• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications, and control schematics.
• Ensuring systems meet customer requirements, energy efficiency goals, and industry standards.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians.
• Supporting project documentation, training, and customer handoff activities.

Skills and Requirements

• 8+ years in Engineering specific to BAS. Either schematic design or software design.
• Strong knowledge of a major BAS platform like WebCTRL, Metasys, Desigo, EBI, etc
• Demonstrated experience with site specific design and programming based on customer requirements.
• Knowledge and participation in the commissioning process
• Professional Engineer License
• Data Center/Mission Critical specific experience
• Experience in both the schematic design and software programming of intricate BAS systems.
