Job summary

Pluribus Digital is seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead enterprise cloud architecture for federal programs. You will guide governance, strategy, and technical direction for Azure environments, IaC (Terraform/ARM), CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Artifactory), and containerization with Kubernetes/AKS.

The role emphasizes architectural leadership, risk management, and alignment with mission objectives, while enabling secure, scalable cloud solutions for government

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Current or previous Public Trust designation.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and implementing Azure cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee highly available, secure, and scalable Azure architectures across compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Define enterprise Azure reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for development teams.
• Establish architectural guidance for Azure identity, governance, policy enforcement, and monitoring frameworks.
• Evaluate and guide the adoption of cloud-native Azure services and modernization strategies.
• Define architectural standards for IaC using Terraform.
• Guide DevOps teams in automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab/GitHub/Artifactory.
• Provide architectural oversight of container deployment models including Kubernetes and AKS.
