Alteryx Inc. is seeking a Lead Architect, Professional Services - Agentic AI Solutions, to guide enterprise AI engagements and deployment. You will mentor architects, shape reference architectures, and partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and customer executives to deliver AI-driven outcomes.

The role emphasizes Office of Finance use cases, security, governance, and reliability. Remote US role with up to 25% travel; strong Alteryx expertise preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in technical architecture, consulting, enterprise AI/ML, data, analytics, or automation implementation roles.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML enterprise architecture with a focus on Agentic AI development and deployment.
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise customer engagements and driving technical decisions across multiple stakeholders or workstreams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technical professionals, establish architecture standards, and influence technical direction without direct authority.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to connect architecture decisions to business outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Sales or Presales teams to shape strategic technical opportunities and validate delivery feasibility.
• Strong expertise with Alteryx Designer, Server, and the Alteryx One enterprise analytics platform is strongly preferred, including experience integrating Alteryx into complex enterprise data, cloud, automation, and AI ecosystems.
• Experience supporting Office of Finance, accounting, banking, SOX-compliant environments, or similar financial services and regulated business use cases is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, development, and deployment for complex enterprise Agentic AI solutions, with emphasis on Office of Finance use cases.
• Own technical direction for multi-workstream AI/ML engagements to ensure scalable, secure, production-ready solutions.
• Guide design of AI agents and multi-agent workflows integrating LLMs, data, APIs, and automation platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews and decisions across Alteryx Designer/Server/One and cloud AI services.
• Define production-readiness patterns for security, governance, observability, and cost.
• Serve as senior escalation point for challenging AI architecture scenarios and critical deployments.
• Partner with Sales/Solutions Engineering to shape approaches and validate feasibility.
• Engage executives and stakeholders to translate objectives into AI roadmaps and deployment plans.
• Mentor architects and contribute to reference architectures, accelerators, and enablement resources.
• Stay current on AI ecosystem and evaluate emerging technologies for enterprise adoption.
