Job summary

Airtm is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform systems that power our digital work economy. You will collaborate with development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure for AI workloads and high-availability deployments.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services and modern cloud architecture patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for IaC.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes concepts and containerization with Docker.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
• Experience provisioning infrastructure for AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) or deploying LLMs.
• Good troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and manages AWS cloud infrastructure (VPCs, EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda).
• Develops and maintains Terraform modules for repeatable provisioning.
• Deploys and manages Kubernetes clusters (EKS) with autoscaling and resource management.
• Builds and improves CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe, automated releases.
• Implements logging, monitoring, and alerting for proactive incident response.
• Applies infrastructure security best practices and manages secrets.
• Writes scripts/tools to automate operational tasks.
• Creates runbooks and architecture diagrams; maintains documentation.
• Partners with development teams to improve platform reliability.
• Participates in on-call rotation for production incidents.
• Designs cloud infra to support scalable AI/LLM workloads.
• Evaluates and integrates AI-driven DevOps tools to accelerate provisioning and troubleshooting.
