Job summary

D2B is seeking an experienced Landscape CAD Draftsperson to transform concept designs into buildable construction drawing sets. The role emphasizes Vectorworks drafting, setouts, sections, details, planting plans, and material schedules, with the ability to produce photorealistic renders.

Qualifications

• Proven proficiency in Vectorworks is required.
• Experience with construction documentation for landscapes.
• Residential project experience preferred.
• Strong written English for communication with Australia-based team.

Responsibilities

• Convert approved concept designs into detailed construction drawing sets (setout plans, levels, sections, details, planting plans, material schedules).
• Work primarily in Vectorworks to align with client file standards and templates.
• Produce photorealistic renders to support client approvals when needed.
• Coordinate with the Founder and local design team to resolve design intent and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain drawing accuracy for levels, drainage, and material junctions for on-site buildability.
• Manage multiple projects, flag risks or delays early, and meet deadlines.
• Keep drawing files, layers, and naming consistent across projects.
