Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Knowledge Graph Architect to lead the architecture and strategy for a construction-focused ontology, knowledge graph, and AI knowledge platform. You will connect data across estimating, scheduling, costs, and field execution to enable AI, GraphRAG, LLM, and agent-based applications.

Remote, contract position. W2 benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and life insurance. Strong collaboration with domain SMEs and technology teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge graph architecture and ontology development.
• 2nd line
• Proven experience with semantic modeling and graph databases.
• Experience with RAG/GraphRAG and LLMs for AI use cases.
• Ability to translate complex data relationships into scalable architectures.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop an enterprise ontology and knowledge graph for construction data.
• Define relationships across projects, estimates, schedules, costs, and outcomes.
• Incorporate IFC, buildingSMART, LandInfra and semantic web standards.
• Integrate enterprise data from multiple systems into the knowledge architecture.
• Design GraphRAG, LazyGraphRAG, RAG and AI agent architectures.
• Set ontology governance, provenance, entity resolution and mappings.
• Collaborate with SMEs, enterprise architecture, data and AI teams.
• Evaluate if structured knowledge improves AI answers vs traditional RAG/LLM.
