Stride K12, in partnership with Insight School of Kansas (ISKS), seeks a remote Special Education Teacher to deliver online instruction aligned to IEP goals. The role supports students with disabilities, collaborates with families, and maintains required compliance documentation.

The position requires a state teaching license, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to attend in-person PDs and events as needed. Expect typical 9–5 hours with some travel for professional development up to 20%.

• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate with parents and related service staff to ensure appropriate therapies for students with special needs.
• Develop compliant IEPs, progress reports and state-required documentation.
• Lead collaborative special education meetings (annual IEPs).
• Provide accommodations and modifications as per IEP, including assistive tech and accessible text.
• Deliver engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
• Maintain accurate grade books and monitor student progress toward IEP goals.
• Prepare students for high-stakes standardized tests.
• Coordinate with learning coaches/parents and respond promptly to inquiries.
