Feedinkoo is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to contribute to high-quality software that powers educational tools for underserved communities. You will work in a collaborative environment writing Ruby and React code, reviewing teammates' work, and deploying applications.

This role requires familiarity with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, and a strong commitment to enhancing educational opportunities. The position offers a salary range of $85,000–$100,000 along with various health benefits and generous time-off policies.

Qualifications

• 0–2+ years of web development experience.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails through prior work, bootcamp, or personal projects.
• Experience with JavaScript and at least one front‑end framework (React, Vue, etc.).
• Comfortable with PostgreSQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to improving equity of opportunity for students in underserved communities.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Write high‑quality Ruby and React code and tests for our Ruby on Rails application.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build optimal solutions for users.
• Participate in our code‑review workflow.
• Serve on the extended business‑hours on‑call rotation (voluntary and paid).
• Deploy and operate our Rails application in production.
