Job summary

Agile5 Technologies, Inc. seeks a Junior Software Developer to join a remote, full-time team. You will design, develop, and debug software in an agile environment using Java and Python, mentor teammates, and contribute to continuous delivery and testing.

The position requires at least 1 year of Java/Python experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong written and verbal communication. C#/.NET experience is a plus, as is Docker and AWS exposure.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Java and Python agile software development experience.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, computer engineering, or closely related field preferred; or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software in an agile development environment.
Writes code that is reusable, testable, and efficient.
Mentors and guides team members who have less experience.
Addresses problems identified with system integration and capability incurred during testing and implementation of developed software.
Consults with project teams and end users to identify software requirements.
Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, and application integration and testing tools.
