Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and software design.
• Programming experience through coursework, internships, personal projects, or professional experience.
• Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C++.
• Understanding of web applications, APIs, databases, and client/server architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software features under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Work on user stories, product enhancements, and defect resolution as part of an agile development team.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code that follows established engineering standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and skills.
• Investigate software defects, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
• Develop an understanding of the existing application architecture and integrate with the broader product.
