Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Junior Business Analyst to support requirements analysis and stakeholder coordination for a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service data integration program. You will document workflows, develop user stories, and support approval tracking with the FWS BA SME.

The role focuses on documenting current-state workflows, analyzing decision logic for NOAA fisheries integration, and maintaining traceability matrices. Remote work is available and federal-sector experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of professional experience, or a Master’s degree with 0 years of professional experience, or an Associate’s degree with 2 years of professional experience, or a high school diploma/equivalent with 4 years of professional experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; all work must be performed within the United States.
• Experience supporting business analysis experience on federal IT programs.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements documentation.
• Strong facilitation support and meeting documentation skills.
• Experience maintaining requirements traceability matrices.

Responsibilities

• Document workflows and develop user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with FWS BA SME to track approvals and deliverables.
• Support requirements workshops and capture meeting notes and decisions.
• Maintain FWS requirement traceability matrices and test artifacts.
• Collaborate on training materials and program status reports.
• Assist in preparing content for progress reports and final year-end report.
