Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Java Application Architect to design and lead enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems. This role is remote in the United States and offers significant career growth potential.

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle from business requirements to robust designs, production code, and deployment of cloud-native services, collaborating with product managers, architects, DevOps, and developers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and end-to-end system design principles.
• Advanced working knowledge of Java (versions 11 and 17), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating microservices architectures, including inter-service communication and observability patterns.
• Proven experience developing front-end applications using React, with Angular/Vue as a plus.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git workflows, including release management.
• Hands-on cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) and knowledge of cloud services.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
